I'm more than happy - My mentee made it into Telekom
Mid 2020 I startet to work as a mentor for young people having low perspectives on the job market. My mentee was a 16 year old man who who was absolutely not sure which way he should choose. No perspecitve, no clear path and little motivation. I guess a lot of young people of his age have the same issue. So did I when I was young. I would have had been happy if somebody would have given guidance to me in that direction when I was young.
The first try was BMW but it didn't work out for him. Of course he was disappointed but failure is one of the most powerful things to encourage! Only through failure we have the opportunity to grow! I'm humble I was able to just help him a bit to succeed. But the biggest step was made by my mentee. 16 years old, fighting for his success and lets see where his path will lead him.
I'm incredibly proud of what he achieved!
